Ideas for strengthening the IBX experience.

As you can see in my other post, I am hoping to ramp the raffle to a new level for IBX2019.

Thoughts for tasks/exercises/fun events:

1. Token at northern-most spot. Token at southern-most spot. Requirement is to hit the N & S most spots in 1 day. Gather both tokens in one day, get raffle ticket(s) and a special call-out at the dinner.

2. Tues & Thurs meeting at 10am. Immediately following (10:30am) group ride to all GPS locations lead by Paul.

2.5 Shrub Slalom. Join me as you get out of your comfort zone and go to the Southern section where Shrubs are plentiful. We will leave no-one behind. We will have Phone-a-Friend cell numbers at the ready. The Tow home will be the World's Largest buggy train!!

3. Flags planted around field. Each flag has a number. Grab em' and exchange for the qty show in raffle tickets.

4. Provide a GPS location (at highway) where to meet at sundown each night (M-F). Chase your shadow home. Not really a race...but I am sure you will be excited if you are quicker than the rest!

5. Bling your Buggy - LEDs are cheap and easy to install. Wednesday night bring out your brightest and most extravegant lit buggy. We could even have a "Crowd Favorite" who would get extra raffle tickets as well as a call-out at dinner.

6. Wednesday - Chili Cook-off / Smoked meat cook-off / Pot-Luck dinner at dark. BYO chair, drink, and serious main-dish to share. Crowd favorite gets bragging rights as well as Raffle tickets (see the theme here...Raffle to 11!)

7. Tandem - Bring you tandem strap/hitch and see if we can get a few buggies together. A few of the Kite Masters can even try to run 2 people - 2 kites.

8. Bulletin Board / Swap meet. Put your unloved stuff in the tent with a name and price. Or, add to the bulletin board if you want to sell after IBX.

9. Bulletin Board - Anyone that needs help or wants to try something (i.e. "Anyone have a 3.2m Vapor I can try flying?" or "I really want to try Land Sailing...can I try yours?") add your note to the board.

10. Safety Board - Everyone's name, handle, and cell number. Recommended Phone-a-Friend people who will rescue and pull you home.
Never be lost and alone if you travel outside of your comfort zone.

Please provide other ideas and recommendations over the next few months.

This is gonna be AWESOME!
Paul
