I have been to Wildwood for the past 3 years during month of August, but unable to kite at the beach because of crowd.
Is kitesurf from the Wildwood beach allowed in September/October when the tourists are gone !!
Went to a spot just North of wilwood last year, there were about 10 locals kitesurfing there. But was not a water beginner spot for me then. Just did
some drag.
Leaving for CapeCod tonight...

Buzz,
We don't know official law about kiteboarding/buggying @ Wildwood beach. We simply use common sense and don't kite during season. Even after
lifeguard's gone (after labor day), we always check with local to make sure it's not crowded enough for us to kite.
For buggying, I've been buggying there during off-season for two years and nobody had said anything.
For kiteboarding, I've never seen anybody kiting, even during off season. So, I thought it was out-lawed but when I asked around, nobody actually
could confirmed such a law. So, early this year, I actually kiteboarded there while other NJ Buggy Club members riding buggies on the beach. Great
time! I still don't understand why people don't kite there.
When you have a chance to come down here, just let me know.
- Brian
