Wanted - Flexifoil Sting 1.7

Hello, I am pretty new to power kiting and have recently bought a Flexifoil Sting 2.4 because they were out of stock of the 1.7. I love the kite and am now addicted to 4 line kites but where I live the wind is normally pretty strong and gusty and the 2.4 get to be a bit much.

I am static flying only at the moment, but am tempted to get a buggy.

I am after a 1.7 if anyone has one they want to get rid of or a Flexifoil Rage 1.8

I still maintain the 1.7m Sting is the ultimate high wind buggy kite. It is the only kite I will use to buggy with when the wind is solidly in the 30mph range and beyond. 42mph is the fastest I've ever been in the buggy and it was using the 1.7m Sting.

I have tried nearly all the other small kites and I wouldn't consider them "high wind" buggy kites. Most of them are bridled and tuned so they will produce power and be useful in "normal winds". A fine example is the 1.4m Flux. Not a high wind kite at all. The 1.8m Rage is a fine flyer for static and normal winds. I had it take me over the footpegs on a hot launch in some stiff winds.

$169 for a complete RTF kite brand new is pretty good and a great kite: http://a.co/d/3WXBPsQ

I own two of them just in case something happens to one of them.

What RTZ said!

My 1.7m Sting is purpose bought to handle the highest winds I will challenge as a true buggy engine. It is the only tiny kite I have flown that you can park and ride. All other tiny kites I have flown give a spurt of power then nothing at the edge. The little sting keeps pulling.

All that said.
For static flying I think nothing beats a Revolution kite. Have you investigated those?
