QR Harness loop questions

So, I have the Airush QR harness loop. The kind that hooks to two points on the bar.

Here is my question. I was stupid and pulled the release before really looking at the way it was all put together.

Anyone have one of these and know how it goes back together?

Pic attached.

FWIW, the QR on their chicken loops is set up the same way. The velcro tab that secures the red pul handle behind the black webbing can be tough to pull against if you fasten it snugly - I leave that wrap a bit loose and test to be sure the red handle releases easily.

That's how i thought it goes. I am having one hell of a time getting it back to that point. I cant get the rope on the releasing side through the one on the fixed side.
