Looking for spots in Vancouver BC. Like Canada Eh!
It's been a while, Just getting back into kite buggying again. I have a few go to spots in Boundary bay at 72nd and near Centennial beach. I hear
Garry Point Park in Steveston is having issues with the local authorities.
So where's everyone going these days, is there still anyone out there?

Hit Centennial Beach area today, talked to a Park Ranger, they basically don't care what happens on the sand flats below the high tide mark. It's not
their jurisdiction. Even if they wanted to they would have to call Department of Fisheries to do anything. Lots of parking at Centennial Beach, short
hike across the beach to get to the sand flats. Pretty easy access.
Wind today was 15, running on Beach Racers. 7.5m kite. Lots of fun to be had, only issue was the sand bars all run mostly north south, so you would
need wind from the east or west to get really long runs. Even with the wind from the SE today, and raining there was still plenty of chances to get up
to speed. Just expect to go home wet and muddy if wind isn't east/west. I'll have to drag someone out to film one day when the weather is better.
All in all a decent spot to hit with fairly easy access. I still like the 72 ave location more, less sand bars, more true sand flats, but access
involves dragging your buggy and gear over a bunch of logs.

Finally got some video from Mud Bay, Tide had just gone out so it's still a bit wet, but it will dry out to hard packed sand with just a couple water
hazards. Wind was 12mph. First time for the son in the buggy with enough wind to do anything.

Looks way drier than I thought it would be. When you drive off the ferry the south end looks like it would never get dry.
Maybe next time i get to the lower mainland I should bring my buggy.
Still having trouble finding a decent buggy spot on the lower Island over here.

Thanks, B-Roc
I haven't given it a go by the ferry terminal. I am going in off of Ladner Trunk Rd, head towards the water at 72nd ave and head down to the Dyke.
Over by Boundary Bay Airport
