I've ridden a lot this year, at the Fairgrounds - a big grass field, a parking lot by our lake and of course at JIBE. After JIBE I switch to water
sports - this year mostly windsurfing. Will do that till fall when I switch back to buggy.

I went to JIBE, made a few expeditions to the fishing pier in the North of the island and back to Kite Beach. I didn't ever go all the way to the
South water tower this year though. Beach conditions weren't super conducive to heading South.

Here's a couple. Since the park was turned over to the city, they've started having music events, 40,000 people and their vehicles have ruined it
pretty good.
The new midis will help.

I have been riding the buggy a lot since I moved from Oklahoma to N. Myrtle beach about a year and a half ago. Almost any time the wind is good and
the tide is low or close to low. Much nicer on sand with clean wind compared to the wheat field.
I plan to start trying to figure out how to successfully ride my mountain board now too.
Off the topic - what is the cheapest way to determine how fast one is going in a buggy. My phone does not have GPS. The other day I was flying my 4m
ozone dp prototype I bought off this forum. I think it is like an access. I was going really smooth with the kite parked and the bar halfway and
then I lowered the kite a little and sheeted all the way in and felt a real boost in speed. I would be curious how fast I was going.

I lost my best grass field to a parking lot. Since then I haven't been out much. There isn't many options in Wisconsin. Trees and lakes abound in
our state. I actually have more options ice buggying on the lakes in winter.

Yes I love wind powered sports. I kite buggy and land sail (pole dance)
I drive 2,600kms to Kingston South East, over in South Australia in January and covered 1,132kms kiting in the 12 days I was there.
I fly over to Yeppoon in Queensland every Easter for a just over a month and I did 5,734kms in my kite buggy along the beach this trip.
I have covered over 10,000kms "wind powered" each year for the last 4 years. Last year I got to 13,240kms. I'm up to a logged (Suunto GPS watch and
Garmin 10) 9,321kms so far this year.

I buggy during my "buggy season" from November till March. Dates aren't exact but depends on when it is no long warm enough to windsurf. Then there
is also my annual trip to Jekyll in May. Been doing it that way since I started with buggy back in 2016.

I still buggy on a regular basis since I moved from Woodward OK to North Myrtle Beach SC 3yr ago. When the wind is on shore and the tide is low I
normally go to Cherry Grove Point.
https://www.princeresortonline.com/cherry-grove-pier-webcam
If you go to the site above and take control of the camera, you can select Cherry grove point view. It is very distorted in terms of length/width
point of view. If conditions are good, you may see me.

Not once so far this year because of lockdowns. I made one attempt to buggy in May but the bar setup was all wrong and I had no choice but to go home.
Good news is, I bought a brand new bug. Should be here soon. :D
