I haven't noticed this kite in anybody's quiver listing, but it's out there somewhere.

If you have it hanging around cause the price was right to give it a try, but not really your thing, then here is where it belongs.
I know it wasn't a high buck kite so why bother to sell it for a pittance ?

I tried very hard to figure out to whom I sold my 8.5m NS3. Sale went down in early April, 2016. Got it narrowed down to a couple of people but not
zero'd in. My U2U cache had gotten cleared out from that far back which would have been the best place to verify, and even through creating a PayPal
records report I couldn't be sure. It's lurking out there somewhere. Good luck.

That day could sure have used the 10m in the air; man, I was barely crawling. :duh:
One thing that comes through in that video is the bane of flying those big NS3 beasts in light variable inland winds, viz., back stalling. Obviously
much of that was pilot error, but it is hard keeping those big boys flying forward all the time in variable winds.
A minor point of clarification. While my former 12.5m NS3 did in fact head East, the 10m headed West (young man) as a gift to a dashing young man with
his lovely and loving wife. :karate:
So my 10m entered as a UAC ? Don't tell ICE.....sorry when I can't kite I watch the news.
Now I have to figure where I bought the 10. Maybe it had siblings.

You really should consider taking up sewing. Anyone who can fix something as complicated as an air conditioner, can easily learn to sew and make as
many and as large kites as you need.

Well I guess I could learn. I've done buttons and chevrons, patches on my SL kite bags.
Wonder how long it would be before I could create something that would out fly a Nasa Star?
I can innovate. I cannot invent. So I'm stuck with the patterns available on the net.

Thing is I like to fly, even repair and fly,.Building would only give me pleasure if homemade ended up better than store bought.
I do admire those who can sew and design. They get all the glory, and deserve it.
The rest of us get a certain amount of reflected glory from our kite choices ( he said sitting there in a Flysurfer T shirt ), and we add our own
skill and little touches here and there to generate pride.
Is it heretical to consider the kite as a tool? I only use the best tools in my work, but I've never had to build a wrench. I can however wrench'

That seems like a fair analogy to me. One advantage of making your own kites is you can do it when there isn't any wind. The downside is people may ask you to hem their dress or pants. :P

It's really enough challenge for me to increase my flying skill.
The buggy is about right now, for the current field.
The bar project is going well and almost done.
Using a brake strap just above the floaties, attached to the depower line on the kite side of the stopping bead with a choice of knots.. I can depower
the kite while hooked in.
I'm enjoying every minute of it because I see it as superior to any other arrangement, and it can't be bought yet. Definitely an honorable mention for
me.
