MBS Core 94 Mountainboard -- SOLD --
I picked up this great mountainboard from our very own Madhungarian a couple of weeks ago, but I've decided to go another way so I'm going to sell it.
He was most kind to make me a killer deal on it and I am asking exactly the same amount as I paid him for it. Mounted now are some enormous 10"
tires, but this board also comes with its standard 200x50mm tires which appear completely unused. I'm sure the board has been ridden outdoors but it
doesn't have a scratch on it and the tires still look brand new.
MBS Core 94 Mountainboard (used): $200 plus shipping -- SOLD--

This sale should be disallowed until we hear the skateboard story. :P

Correct me if I'm wrong, Windstruck, but if this is the board I'm thinking of, tires are Harbor freight and hubs are https://www.mbs.com/parts/13211-mbs-fivestar-hub-1-white
Fairly inexpensive upgrade, and totally worth it in softer sand.

Jeff - you are correct on all counts. The Harbor Freight tires with tubes and throw away metal hubs are a mere $5.99 each. I shudder to think how
young and suppressed the poor Chinese workers were that put those together for that price. The hubs cost $14.95 each and the complete bearing set (8)
cost $19.95.

The story is one of pure vanity. I like my equipment to match and flow together and it simply won't do (not one little bit) to have a black buggy
with aluminum Sysmic rims and then have a mountainboard with white trucks and white plastic hubs.
I found a new MBS Comp 95 board on Amazon for $300 (about $100 discounted) and it has everything I want so I ordered it and put the MBS Core 90 on the
For Sale block. The 10" tires with tubes only cost $6 each so that's easy. I'll probably buy a second set of rims so I'll have a setup for sand (10"
tires) and a setup for the playa (200x50mm stock tires - 8"). Whupp!

This got me interested in upgrading my MBS Core 95 from 8" to 10" tires too.
Your's
Core90: Trucks 39.4cm, Bearings 9.5x28mm, Tires T1
Deck: Tip 20deg, axel-to-axel 85.4cm
Hubs: Twistar hardwareless hubs - white
Mine
Core95: Trucks 39.4cm, Bearings 9.5x28mm, Tires T1
Deck: Tip 35deg, axel-to-axel 90.5cm
Hubs: Twistar hardwareless hubs - white
Curious about tire to deck clearance and if the turning gets a lot wider :dunno:

Haven't actually ridden it so hard to say. The tires are more bulbous in addition to being larger in diameter so their inner surface is closer to the
deck than with the 200x50mm 8" T1 tires so it could be that the turning radius is increased with the bigger tires. The pictures above should give you
a pretty good feel I'd think for how crowded things are getting with the larger tires. Good luck!
