check here - https://kitelife.com/forum/forum/32-kites-for-sale-swap-or-t...

if you get an EXP, add about 5 1/2" of top leader line and it makes it an entirely (better) different kite. an EXP is, in my limited experience opinion, a very good rev to start off with.

danger! as in a buggy quiver, there's no best ONE rev and you'll follow that journey down yet another rabbit hole.

happy holidays everybody!

Are you specifically looking for the Revolution Name brand or also considering others like Freilein, Djinn,Phoenix etc.?

Rev hasn't been the only game in town for a few years since the patent expired. They have a loyal following but they aren't the only answer.

Ocean Shores Kites is the US distributor for Freilein and a Vertigo is probably your best bet for a first wing of this type.

I have Revs, Freileins, Phoenix, and Djinn. Of them, Djinn is the best,, Freilein is the best bang for buck.

If you are getting into this type of flying you would also benefit from joining us over at KiteLife.. There are some free tutorials on getting started that will help you a LOT.

Unsolicited MAJOR shout out to RiffClown.

He built me a custom REV and it is by far my favorite (I've bought/had/flown/sold probably 20 REVs).

Heck, I bought ten REVs from Steve Thorson in one purchase.

Go with RIFFCLOWNS offerings. You will NOT be disappointed. If you are, I will trade you two of my REVs for the one he built for you.

How is that for a positive response?
