What size blade?
Can anyone help me with choosing a blade? I know the blade 4 is newest but I am just using for static flying right now. Is an older blade ok? I weigh
210lbs. winds are average 8-15. Thanks.

Avg winds 8 to 15 the Blade 2 9.0 or Blade 3 8.5 are great low wind engines, and will def get you going in a buggy or on a board if decide to go that
way. Also consider the Blade 3 6.6! Big concern with Blades and buggiers is the lift. Some like it some dont. There are other low winders out there
to consider-- Centurys, U Turn Butanes, and the Mac Para Bego 600! I have a B3 8.5 and its an awesome kite. Low wind grunt is awesome, very stable,
and jumps are amazing. Ive flown her in winds as low as 3mph up to 18 mph on the top end. I can get rolling easliy on the board in 8 mph winds. Once
you hit 12 mph, airtime is high and O Plenty with floaty landings. The 8.5 is a great kite but really needs to be respected! Good luck!

The older Blade IIIs are good fun - look for a 6.6m or 8.5m. The 8.5 works well in 8 - 15 mph winds

In those winds with Your weight I would get at least 6.5 for jumping or less for just flying.I have 4.9 &6.5 as my favorite sizes and You can demo
it on Ocean Beach if You want, just send me PM.4m is super fast in the window if You like that...If You don't fly with harness get a 3m.
Cheers

Start in lower winds and work your way up! At 210 you could hold down a 6.5/6.6/8.5 in 12 to 15 mph winds! Also, KKs, helment, and pads a must!

If you're new to flying larger kites, the 4.9m might be the size to get, problem is that even though they make less lift, if they do lift you they can
still drop you. the 6.6m will have more power/lift, but it'll have a good amount of float as well.

I like this dude!! Are we talking the blade 3 or 4? Thanks for that tip
Because I got slammed by my bullet like that. It lifted me no problem but then let me go just as fast. Floaty would be nice!

Thrasher,
Not saying 8 to 15 are low winds just within the bft parameters of the B3 8.5. The 4.9 series 4 Blade is a great kite but you may want to consider the
B3 6.6 or B4 6.5 with the winds you described! Ive never flown a Bullet but they seem to bite more often than the Blade from what I ve seen posted!

Don't get me wrong, the Bullets are wicked kites, fairly fast and quite strong for their size. The only problem with them is that they react instantly
to input or gusts, so any wrong move by the pilot or getting hit by a gust at the wrong time usually ends with instant results. That doesn't leave
much time for the pilot to react. I'm pretty sure that's why the bullets bite so much. If you can handle them, out fly them then they're absolutely
brilliant.
B3 6.6 or B4 6.5m are both really good kites for the ATB's and jumping in general.
