Wow - impressive skill and bravery on display there!! I am surprised two kites that look somewhat different (at least in aspect ratio and size) can both keep up. Seems differences in l/d or window would make it hard to fly both together on the tandem ride - one might lag behind. (Not to mention the issue of tangled lines.) Shows a lot trust in the partner. At first I thought he was standing, but I guess he was kneeling. Still a somewhat difficult position.

Also, you must have been really close to the other buggy at times. GoPro makes everything look a look further away and riding close to someone else at speed is a challenge.:thumbup:

thanks for the comments people:

@ Randy: not to mention that Richard being co-pilot in the side-ride and tandem is a novice but trust me as his mentor.
we did on both occasions over 50 km/h and that's really good in my book for someone who's been out for no more than
a handfull in a buggy.
and as for keeping up concerning the kite's:
i flew a LVRP 8.1m and Richard a 4.9m PL reactor, that difference in size makes up the performance since i'm doing
most of the pulling in the front..
:)
i've been riding tandem since 2006 and sideride since 2010 and usually a smaller size regardless the AR
for the co-pilot wich i've been myself for many times is a good match.

day 2 is in the making...:cool:
