The Four Ages of Man

It has been a coon's age since I've posted on PKF. I still check it most days and miss the days when this was a more active forum (but I get it). I still get out to Ivanpah once or twice a year and greatly enjoy my time there and my great friends that I enjoy the stoke with.

I hope everyone is well and happy!

Good one. Nice hearing from you Steve! Hope all is well! Some years ago, I spent a summer (our low wind season) experimenting with single line kites, and designed some of my own. I decided I would come back to that when I'm older. Like too old to buggy or ATB. ;)

I ran into Paul Lawrence this weekend at a kite festival in ME. It was great to see and catch up with him again but sadly, most of the die hard buggy / board guys in my area, like me, have moved on to other things. I really miss the days when every weekday was spent planning the next weekend session / meet up. It saddens me to think that it makes more sense for me to sell than keep my gear but I just can't let it go and hope to find time to rekindle the spark some day.

I guess not many of us left on the forum now a days. Hope everything is going well for everyone here. I was working on another buggy build but it seems pointless to post anything when everyone has migrated to social media.

B-roc, Was going to contact you in a couple weeks to see if you had any interest in doing some kiting once nahant opens up for us (october?) . Email if you have any interest.

Not trying to create work on your end, but I sure do love me some photo montages of custom builds. They'll be highly appreciated. We may be few, but we're mighty!:karate:

Definitely interested but not available until 10/22. Work is really busy this fall

Yea, I mean what's the deal with middle aged/old dudes who don't fly kites anymore?

I'm going to take a nap now

Nice to hear from you again Spencer. I've been itching to get to the fairgrounds but no luck so far. I went once already but the wind didn't meet me there. Did ride my buggy at my lake spot and ridden my ATB a few times as well.
