First Flight with a 5M Haka

Just got back in from my first power kiting experience. :D I have no idea what the wind speeds were. The internet was saying 13mph but I would guess a little bit less. Maybe 9 or 10mph. Initially I was worried about the potential power of this kite, but once it was in the air and I actually had a chance to feel it for myself, it took the edge off. I had definately over estimated the power in lower winds. Don't get me wrong, once I upped the speed and flew it through the window I managed 15 foot long scuds. It seems another 5 mph or so the kite would really start to come alive. From a new guys perspective the kite seems very stable and smooth but being a stunt kite guy it didn't seem that fast. Currently I am writing a comprehesive review on the kite with close up pictures of the stitching and line attachment points etc. Hopefully that will give people intersted in buying one a better idea of what they are getting for their money. It will be another week before my next day off. :( Maybe my boss will let me off for a couple hours to fly!
