I do know that you need to contact the Needles office of the blm. Right now I would have to look up the info and it is too late for that. I will do that tomorrow.

If you send in your "use reports" after using the lake bed then you will automatically be listed for a new permit for the following year. The "use reports" help keep the BLM updated on who is using the lake bed and we are told that the more people that are using it - the more chances we will have to continually use it. Basically if you don't use it you lose it.

Try to make sure and send in your use reports, it helps everyone with access as well as gets you an automatic renewal without having to contact them each year.

The BLM office for Ivanpah can be reached at (760) 326-7000

thanks everyone, I have contacted Merle and he has my permit under way. I will try to make better use of it this year and make sure that I submit my use records.
