the best kite-mountainboard spot in the world?
Hi,
With my friend (khéo team rider) we search a good spot for kite-mountainboard, we want making a trip for our DVD.
Maybe you know a good freeride spot? in Colorado or other country...
thanks

kansas, where the winds are so feirce, they destroy towns
though i haven't tried it yet myself, since i live so far away (NYC), when i drove through the state of kansas, all i could see for hours and
hours, was endless miles of gently undulating plains with very very short grass, and no signs of civilization for as long as you can see in any
direction; an ideal spot for some cross country riding.
i have a friend who lives in kansas city, which i hear is dramatically different from the rest of the state (there are trees there), that tells me the
winds in kansas are usually quite high, and consistent, since there are no obstructions on the ground. she says she often experiences winds of 70mph
or more. this is high desert plains, the altitude is over a mile high, so you definitely get them mountain top type winds.
when i saw it, i was travelling cross country, but i bookmarked it in my mind as a place i would definitely like to check out for some sick riding in
any direction for miles and miles with tons of opportunities for jumps and air.
the altitude made it one of the coldest places in the country when we crossed it in august; maybe they get some good snow cover in the winter and you
could go cruising on a snowboard forever, and jump over some drifts formed by the wind and catch ridiculous air.
my vote is for kansas
