What piece broke?
I've got several Flexi handles and have had no problem. I even have a set from 1999 and no problems with that set either.
Hopefully it was a fluke on your handles.

it was the actual plastic tubing that makes the handle. Broke around the bottom of the foam.... Can't find my camera lead!!!

Yep, there are lots of people who have had their flexi handles break. Check over on the flexi forum and you'll find tons of stories similar to yours.
If you contact flexi and send them back to them they will replace them for you (at least they have in the past).

I've had one pair since 1996 and another pair since about 2000. Haven't had the plastic snap, but you have to watch the wear on the pigtails that come
out of the handles... I've had them all gradually wear and snap while flying... gives you a shock when you're not expecting it... :wow:

Yep I had mine snap.
Send an email to wendy@flexifoil.com and she'll sort it out. I got mine in three days from the UK after emailing her.

I thought id broke my Flexi handles the other day, tryin out my mates new buggy! Got tangled round the axle and the next thing i know im gettin
dragged through the axle n then my kite just collapsed! i reli thought my handles had broke but it was my kite killers that had snapped!!!! kinda
pissed off but cheaper than handles 2 replace!
im impressed with the punishment my handles had stood up to so far!
now all ive got to wait for is my cracked thumb to heal before i can fly again
what wind's were u flying in!?
