Brooza bridle adjustment

Just getting into flying and buggying the 4m Brooza 1 I recently picked up from Pablo. This is a sweet kite for my gusty conditions, and I'll put together a review in the near future.

I know the Busters and Buster II's are set up for variable AOA adjustment, and Pablo said the Brooza II's come this way. Anyone have any tips for setting this up on the Brooza 1 before I just have at it - maybe a pic?

Must say this is a beautifully built kite, and I don't particularly mind the minimal ripstop sack, but the lack of online manuals and documentation for PKD can't be helping their market share. Maybe PKD figures those flying the Cent's and Brooza's dont' need it, but basic technical support via the web wouldn't hurt (hint, hint, Pablo)

since your sig states "constantly moding" Here are pics for the U-Turn Oxigen Pro II that has AOA on it. Not sure if this will help, but good reference.

The Brooza 1's are fixed bridal, the Brooza II's come with an adjustable bridal very similar to the U-turn ones. Not sure why the factory didn't put anything for literature in with the Broozas, but I think from now on I'll be printing off a copy of the file and including it with the kites.

One comment though, I've found that the 3,4,5.5m brooza I's all come set up in pretty much the perfect all around setting, they're bomb proof in gusty winds, go upwind well, have lots of power and are still fairly quick. Just hit 45.3mph on the beach at SOBB with a 4m Brooza in around 18-20mph winds.

I've tried tinkering with the Brooza II bridal to get more throw out of it, while I got wicked power/lift, going past the factory settings also gave me about 12 broken bridal lines. By modding the bridal I gave it way more travel than it was ever designed for. I think the factory throw for a Brooza II is around the 4" mark, be sure to set it up so that the factory setting on the BI is about 1/2 way up the 4" of travel.

Let me know if you need more specifics on the BII bridal, I can probably take some pics if needed.

Thanks for the U-turn info, Ricardo. I like the adjustment system. I've set up UDS and Wingwarp/Frenzy depower rigs with both bars and handles on several kites.

My question is more about exactly which bridles are gathered to what on the Brooza II's adjustable bridle vs. the Brooza I fixed setup. I'm presuming the basic primary and secondary bridles are the same, but PKD has just bundled stuff to a single A, B, C point for each side.

A pic of the Brooza II bridling would be great, Pablo. The Brooza I 4m rocks for sure as is, but I can't leave well enough alone. Maybe some broken bridles would convince me.

Bridal looks the same on the Brooza I and the Brooza II all the way up to the point where they meet at the main power line knot. On the brooza I they're all anchored to the main flying line knot, on the II they all run into seperate loops on the adjuster same as the U-turn pic and the Buster manual shows.

I'll try and get a pic taken tonight and post it up.
