Landboarding Help

How do you start boarding with depower?

I can ride both ways with smaller kites, like beamer 3.6, but for some reason I cannot figure it out with my depower's psycho 2 10m and 7m montana II.

Received my core 95 board, and had a session with it today. Could'nt get going for more then 20 m as the kite will colapse.

Any tips would be great. where do I position the kite in order to start moving etc.

Thanks.

P.S. I do wear helmet, knee pads and shin pads. Also have around 1 month, around 20 hours on each kite of static flying and jumping.

You're going too far downwind :)
Carve!!!!
The end.

Soooo, put the kite at the edge of the window and dig your heels in, lean back and it should drag you wherever you desire!

You should basically be trying to pull your body AWAY from the kite the whole time, so the kite wants to go off at 11oclock down the field you want to try and go 8oclock across the field...

I always say it, but leaning back is really the best advice to give to people new to landboarding... always try and crash on your ass rather than going over the front of the board!!

The beamer won't collapse cos its so small and you can work it so fast and it's much lower aspect! You should be able to park and ride with the bigger kites...
