Harness
Which harness is better for handles? A waist harness or one that goes around your chest? I dont remember the name of the chest harness I saw
KYTESLINGER using one with a 9m haka pulling some nice static jumps.Where can I look at some of these? As I need something soon my arms cant take it
much longer. Unless I have a couple friends with me sessions end up being to short because an hour at most and I am whipped. Thats a word I have not
seen in awhile (Haka) whats up? Also a little help how the heck do I get an
Avatar? I want to show a pic. Thanks.

Seeing as you have a buggy on the way, I'd say a seat harness, they're not bad on the ATB, but really help in a buggy. Problem is you end up with the
kite almost straight overhead quite a bit, so unless you're shaped like a body builder the waist harness will end up riding up a lot in the buggy.
Second point, waist harnesses usually sit a couple inches lower on your body, so when you sit in the buggy the hook sits nice and low, makes it easier
to transfer the pull from the kite directly to the buggy side rails. My seat harness barely clears the Libra siderails, so the buggy takes all the
abuse, with a waist harness the pull is a good 4-6" up from the side rails so it puts the power through your torso.

I've been using this harness for almost 10 years. I've tried lots of harnesses and I keep going back to this one. http://www.the-house.com/dk084zzdakine.html
It's a Dakine XT seat. You also need a Reactor roller spreader bar or a DaKine roller type spreader bar.
Here is the roller bar. http://www.the-house.com/ul002zz.html Unfortunately this is the short version of the bar. It will work until you can get a longer bar.
If you have questions drop me a line.

I can't speak to the buggy issue but I feel harness preference has a lot to do with body build. I am skinny and I can't use a waist harness. Because
of my build the waist harness rides up to my chest. If I tighten it enough so it won't ride up, it crushes my chest and makes breathing difficult
(I'm not kidding). If I leave it comfortable it rides up and rolls around my torso as I tack. But it does put your hands in a more natural position.
I have a dakine fusion seat harness and think it is mega comfy. I bought it one size big so I could get it over my ski pants and find it even a bit
big for that but it can't ride up and even in the summer it is spacious but snug and real comfy.
It holds the power down a bit low so you need to get used to that and it isn't the best for static jumping but I don't like to jump hooked in and
generaly don't fly static hooked in either.
It is great for skiing and once you get used to it for boarding its great too - plus it adds a bit of padding to your butt so if you get dragged
you've got a bit of a cushion.
I highly recommend a seat harness if you are skinny or if you upper body is about the same girth as your waist.
