I don't know how others use the site and check for unread messages, but I use the "Today's Posts" button to order the posts to see what I haven't read. Since I always finish a thread at the bottom, it would be a huge convenience to have a "Today's Posts" button at the bottom of each thread like is found at the top. I'm not an HTML guy but should it be that hard to add on?

Bob, just hit the back button on your browser, and you'll go back to the todays list.

That is only easy if you didn't make a post. Then it could take 2-4 clicks of the back button to get there. By that time I can scroll to the top and click the one at the top of the page. With the back button, I'm not sure it is a refreshed view. A "Todays Posts" button would get you straight there and it would be refreshed.

Placing a link at the page bottom would mean editing the forum's software. This is out of the range of our maintenance scope because each time we upgrade the software, the link will be overwritten.

I also peruse the Today's Post page. Try this... right click on the link you wish to open and choose "open link in new window/tab". This way you can keep the list open in one window while reading/posting to a thread in another. When you've read the post, close the window - the today's posts page remains open where you left it.

Also keep in mind that there is a back-to-top link (set of 3 arrows) at the bottom of each page. This will get you to the page top quickly.
