Im new, and i was wondering about a good kite for kite jumping, at the moment im headed for a flexifoil 8 or 10, but i'm not sure, i weigh 8
stone if that helps, any suggestions? My budget's £100-150 tops and i'm no expert, heck im barely a novice.
Cheers,
Mike

First Kite
Finally got my first kite, a super 10, went to fly it today but there wasn't enough wind for a good flight, tomorrow there should hopefully be
some, and I'm hoping to put my makeshift grassboard into action, wish me luck!

You could try a 3m rhombus firebee or a 3m flexifoil bullet??...They are quite good for jumping but you dont wnat a kite that is overpowering?

At 8 stone, you should get a really good work out and get some good air with a super 10, when there is enough wind to get it off the groung. If you
get into trouble, remember to let go of one handle only. The kite will spin over and crash. If you let go of both handles, you may end up chasing it
over a few fields and finally untangling it from a load of trees! I should know. That happened to me on my first ever go at power kiting.

dude, any 3m or 4m kite would be perfect. I reccommend first learning how to control the kite in light air before you go major jumping in stuff like
15-18 knots

Hi bud.
I flew a super 10 for some years and when the wind is really blowing these babies will give you a good tug. padded straps are a good idea, comfortable
and easier to hang on to. I've just moved up to a quad line blade 4.2 and nearly killed myself first time out. far too much power!!!
GREAT FUN THOUGH...
If i can be any more help, drop us a line.
ADIE.
