new wave warrior

This is my first time posting so please let me know if I do something wrong. I am looking for some info on the new wave warrior by kitewing. Are there used ones out there yet? Can it be used for snow sports too? Where can I try a kitewing before I buy?

Thanks

Thanks for the link DaVinch and for welcoming me Sthrasher38. I live on a lake which is now officially frozen. There is fresh snow and the wind is always blowing hard. Yesterday I almost pulled out my credit card and ordered a Kitewing to pull me around on my snowboard. The only problem is that no matter how many websites I visit I can't determine if I should buy a Wave Warrior and use it now in winter and then in Summer on the water or if I should just get the Rage 55+ for now.:puzzled:

I would get the standard Rage 55. I've got a 5.5 Skimbat, and looked into the WW75 for more lowend from a line-less sail. It's really not there. Concensus is you get more lift for jumps, but not much more lowend - the things still need a solid 12mph or so to get you going. Add to that the WW75 is more prone to damage, and consider that I'm 6'3" and I still drag the tips of the 5.5 often enough.

Alot of people over at Wingsurfer don't feel the plus/pro models are really worth the money. Again, you're not getting any extra grunt for your money.

Now, if you have an honest dual purpose - the WW75 might make sense. But, again, while learning, a smaller 'wing is better.

I didn't even think about the extra length. I'm 6'7" but I can definately see draging the tips being an issue. Thanks.
