Hi
I ski, wakeboard and fly kites at the beach.
I would like to express my thanks to you for inspiring me to build a pair of Doomskate. My wheels should be ready this week.
I fully understand your idea of stability with offsetting the boot and offsetting the front tire to create a turning radius when leaning against the
kite. But I built mine with a ski boot and binding with everything centered on axis. Altough this should be a lot more tiring because of the angle of
the boot. I will try them first while beeing towed behind my ATV. The only thing worrying me is the turning. I will probably have to step turn when
being pulled. I'm using the same 12 in. wheels but because of 20 inches for bindings, my roller ski is 34 inches long (center/center)
What is your perception of this ?
Also, I would like to know what you think of the Peterlynn Arc 840. I'm kinda new to this awesome sport (with experience stunt and foil kitting).
I weight 170 lbs and I plan on using this TK for all my traction needs. Winds here vary between 5 to 30 Mph regularly.
Your thoughts on my 2 questions will be highly influential
Yours Truly!!!
