Very cool, only issue being that the vertical spars are on the wrong side of the kite.

Might be able to just switch the bridle to the other side.

Other than that could be fun as a first test.

Ill have to agree with Justin on the spars. the only info i can give ya up front is small inputs to start out with. Large inputs when learning, Inputs the kite in the ground :borg:
I have a ryv 1.6 I built 1/2oz RSN framed with P100 down tubes and P200 across the top. Was built for light winds. I may still have the plans somewhere.

Nice looking Revo tell us how the test flight goes

A fellow from around here has been seen riding his buggy with a rev. . Maybe you can to !

I'll be interested in finding out how it works for you. I may want to try making one !

Would be easier to sew on a pocket for the spar on the other side. It is a suuuuuper fun kite to fly and it is by far the fastest thing I have flown. The spins are wicked fast. I know they make super large rev's no traction in less than 25. And even then it would have to be a skateboard on concrete. Mine requires a good 10mph to fly, it weighs about 2 pounds. Its kinda ugly, but beautiful in its own special way. Not to mention it is missing the vents. Here is the link:

I would reinforce the end of the sail and hot cut a hole just big enough for some bungi cord to go through run it through the sale and a end cap that will go over the rod and tie the bungi together. same for top

Caution marker rods from home depot are realy tough, and cheap at $1 a pop. Besides its a stunter, I would never go sparred traction kites.

Nice, went like me and went all one color.....horray for lazy people!!! JK JK, makes it lighter too. I would be alot better off with some graphite/carbon fiber rods but I don't want to pay for shipping on rods, oddsize/shape=like $20 to ship a STICK!!!! ;) About how much does your weigh? When I put it on a scale I get a reading between 1.5 and 2 lbs....A bit heavy I believe.

Yes there is a doubled over layer of fabric sewn on. Did you put in the vents..? I didn't I wonder what effect it has? Got this idea in class from a trapezoid. LOL! Wonder if it would work. Red is a spar....

no mesh will make the dive stops slightly spongy{not as crisp} as if the mesh would have been in
also it releases the air bubble {turbulents} built up from the wind flowing over the spar........

I making a rev 2 form my wife right now here's the design.. Tribal Crop circles and a few of my other sewing projects

thats going to be nice with those tribal circles

The mesh helps the reverse flight. I didnt put the mesh on mine and it flys good enough. I renforced mine with kevlar so if the sail fails it want be in the center :)
I put mine on the scales and it weighs 6.1oz
