I was wondering if it was possible to up the U2U limit? I know its possible to do this using forum software like SMF and phpBB, but not sure what this
is running. Seems like an older system like YaBB.

Have you tried deleting some of your old messages? (remember to empty the trash too).
You should also delete your sent messages as they count against the total.
Note: If you do not want to save sent messages, open your profile and uncheck the 'Save outgoing U2Us in your Outbox' option.
