Last time i was at Destin alot of the beach had washed away and was kinda narrow. but that has been several years back. The whole time i was there the
wind was so bad i could not even fly even a SLK. For me if i had a choice i would go some where else

lots of good spots there..ft walton, pensacola, panama city...big group of kiters in that area now
