BAR ADVISE


I have seen i a bar .Flexifoil Traction Lite Control Bar 65cm would this be ok for a pansh 6m and would it be easyer to use the brakes then:puzzled: handles

You get far better brake control with handles ! With handles you can tweak one brake without pulling on the front line at all and do brake turns. With a cross over bar you get 2:1 brake input but must still apply some force to the fly line to get the brake action. Lots of motion is needed to have big action on the brakes.

The other thing I have found with a cross over bar is that a small amount of brake happens do to the weight of the extra pulleys. This causes the kite to back down + act a bit odd at lower wind speeds. The smaller the kite the more obvious the drag on the brakes.
