Hey Glenn

When I made those kites for you I used thread that falls apart after coming in contact with the playa dust. Good luck.

There is a guy here in Vancouver, BC... who was making them before for Dave & Luk. He had a couple sets sitting around that never sold so he sent them to Germany. I'll get back intouch with him again.

Jellis probably still has some instock.

Eli is working with GI on Vegas Hubs for buggies.

Hey Joe
I'm looking forward to seeing you making the first turn after I've already made the second turn. Susan and I are bringing some secret weapons to fly for the races, she'll be finishing up the first one this coming week I hope. I can hardly wait to get there. I'll be bringing my new toy trailer so I have plenty of room to carry buggies, for those who are flying from Texas.
Joe, I have your bigfoot down tube also.

Hey Glenn
You better do something to them, (like rub some speed dust on them or something) as they are last years models. Unless you don't mind watching what the new models will be doing from behind me.

Brad

It will be tough being beaten by a newbie to NABX. But you won't be the only one.

Hey Jason

Yes I will have my landsailor with me, Susan and I will get there on the 29th. We will spend a day or two at pre-event
then come play with ya all. I can't wait to put it to the test. If I go really fast in it and feel comfortable with it I may try taking the mast off and turn it into a hybrid kite buggy and try for the speed record?
I guess the secret is out.

Anyone had any luck fitting a windsurfing sail onto a buggy? Started with the intent of a landsailor and finished my sexy NPW9b!!! Where is this held? I would really like to show up if I can! :D And the others that have made large NPW's how does the spagetti work out? I have issues with the bridles on my 5. Looking at something in the 10m range for those light wind buggy days.

On larger nasa wings if you use the cascade bridle it calls for 1/3 less bridle lines. I try to make loops instead of knots. I find that knots snag on too many things.

I used the cascade system on my 5m as well, just seems like on a 13m (What I am looking at to fill my gap) the bridles would be crazy long. The knot issue is a bummer but I find that if I tie the bridles b4 packing up they stay nice and clean. Do you know of any cheap sources of fabric? I spent $50 on my 5.5 and would need to order some more bridle line. What is a good weight for a 13m NPW9b? 100#? That should cost me about $15 (Dacron, yeah I know, but only on the bridles. I have had no issues with it on the 5.5m) Has anyone had any luck spraying their kites? I saw a can of tent silicone spray for $7 the other day and would like to keep as much UV damage from my kite as possible, I would like to have it for a LOOONG time. It was my first kite and kinda holds a spot in my heart (hence the NPWfever) :D
