Better than the sod field ? I sent u a u2u before you posted this so don't pay any attention to it. I'm definately flying this weekend, but probably
at the sod field. I don't think I'm ready to have a obe on the pavement. But as I improve I look forward to the speed runs

Nothing like meeting pavement face to face.
Pavement is super fast. I ride on an airstrip with a skateboard, good times.

Tarmac and rollerblades is AMAZING fun and WAY SAFER than I imagined going in.
You don't fall as often as you think and if you do it at speed you skid out like on ice. If you are padded up.
The 2 worst falls I've had on tarmac I was hardly moving and my feet slipped out banging the back of my head.
I miss my old parking lot
How on earth did you get a landing field to run in :wow::wow:
That almost trumps a sod farm :P

I had fun A coulple good runs in like you said the wind sucked that day but when we first got there it was blowing pretty good. I dont like using this
word but I was scared! The asphalt was no joke! I think I need a little more time under my belt before I do that again. I am going to stay on the
grass for awhile. That asphalt was way to fast for me! Dont get me wrong I love to go fast but not on asphalt. Not very forgiving if you make a
mistake and my tires would not last a day there of good riding. Nice spot though.

Sthrasher and myself had a good session here today. It was a great back up location for when the sod field is flooded like it was today.

Just curious, when I'm on asphalt, I'm always super careful with my kite, I think the asphalt will act like sand paper on the canopy. You guys take
the same precaution?

I have lost my spot but YES !!! It was hard on my leading edge in the long haul. Not like there was damage right away but it took it's toll and was
WORTH IT !!! I hit tarmac VERY hard on that kite and it never took real damage. ( it was a JoJo )
I sure miss that spot !
