does any1 know the average wind speed in ni irealnd (enniskillen) i bought my first kite today im 7 stone and age 14 what all can i do with a 2 meter duel control power kite?

A 2-3 meter kite is a good place to start out. You will be able to use this kite to learn basic kite control, launching / landing etc. It is also a good size for recreational flying because small kites fly and spin faster than larger ones. But it will probably not provide enough power for traction kiting. You will need to go a little bigger in the future if Kite ATB is your goal.

i tried out my new kite yesterday and it can pull me on da atb slowly but i thimk it might work better on da beach

What goes slow on hard ground goes slower on sand.

Might be a bit of a trek for you, but I've been going up to Benone beach (just north of Colerain). Its fairly popular with power kiters.. Probably because there is firm sand and a prevailing on-shore breeze (giving you the full run of the beach).

When I was there on saturday, there were 40mph gusts... I'm definately glad I had a harness :singing:
