Kiting in Berkeley

Hi Everyone,
so I'm from Scotland but will be moving to Berkeley CA in a month or so to start a new job. I was wondering if there was any good spots for land boarding in the area as I would like to keep my kiting going.

Thanks
Phil

Welcome to the forum .... and California. You asked at the right place ... I'm not in the bay area, I'm about 2 hours away, so there will be others coming along on this post that live there and they will be able to give you specific spots. There are lots of good spots and wind in the bay area

the Berkeley marina is doable but has a butt load of gopher holes and wind is not a problem.. on the other side of the bay ocean beach were zloty {slawek} and a few other power kiters like best during the low tides... but once your on the west coast you'll be able to find many places to ride
