Ability to edit posts gone?

Am I missing something, or has the new format taken away the ability to edit our own posts? I liked that feature, 'cuz I'm a por typist and would like to be able to fix my miztakes.

It's the icon that looks like 2 pages with a pencil located at the top right of your posts.

The new Quote button is to the right of that and looks like a person with a green plus sign.

I don't know if its related but I'm having trouble logging in to sites on Firefox. You might not be logged in and that would eliminate your ability to edit your posts since PKF doesn't know it you. I have edited posts this morning though. OH duh. You had to be logged in to make the post though. Still working for me nevertheless.

EDIT: Admin changed my cookie settings. Corrected now.

Thanks -

I was looking for text instead of an icon. Cut my teeth on DOS instead of a Mac, so maybe that explains it...

What about the ability to delete a post. My post above was irrelevant to the forum once I figured out it was an issue with my computer, but the delete button was gone. When it turns out I said something proving I'm a dork, I'm stuck with it in perpetuity?

You may edit your posts but may not delete them. There have been cases where folks have started a ruckus only to later remove their posts. This won't happen anymore. If you need one of your posts removed, click the 'Report' button and we'll take care of it.

Well we don't need any ruckuses going on. Good idea. I have deleted a few of my posts, but only when I realized later that they were either off topic, or didn't add anything to the conversation.

Understood. From now on just hit the report button (be sure to include a reason) and we'll take care of it. Thanks.
