Lunchbox, thats the least of your worry's with attending the hooHa ! Yes it's Buffalo Bills and if you drive around back of parkinglots or mall, you'll
wind up at the entrance to Playa ,From the gate it's a 5 minute ride to the tent, about 2 1/2 miles to camp I guess.Bring something cold to drink
before you head out, theres a deli at entrance to Playa.Stock up and head out to buggytown ,Please make sure ya take garbage with you when leaving as
theres no dumpster this year.Hope to see ya !:D
:singing: another cool vid. i have been flying RC for about 4 years now. some of the electrics is hard to beat. i have had a couple in the past. the
frames is cheep so we play bang up durby with them. then i got a hot cutter and now i cut them out to make it even cheeper.
Maybe next year we can have some midairs at NABX Sometimes I bring a carbon
falcon wing that takes a beating for when the winds are suckering people to the middle of Playa ,then turns off for the long walk of shame:duh:
Hey Sailors,
Just a gentle reminder...
When we say "Stay on the road" we DO NOT mean that literally.
The "road" is a pair of ruts that resulted from a mis-guided attempt by the BLM to control traffic. Concentrating vehicle traffic to that one path
made deep ruts that hold water and prevent access to the lake bed proper.
Do Not Drive In The Ruts!
The BLM has placed carsonite stakes about 150' apart along the access route.
They run alongside the shore-side of the old ruts and about 50' in from the brush.
All motor vehicles must stay within those markers.
By spreading the impact we hope to lessen the damage caused by our cars and trucks.
NEVER drive in any wet or damp areas of the lake bed.
The speed limit for motor vehicles is 30 mph.
If you wish to go faster, you must be wind-powered.
Buggytown will spring up around the Big Tent.
Camps should be set right up to the old access road ruts.
This protects the pits and all the gear.
No cars on the playa - No landsailers, buggies or kites in the camping/parking area.
The more conscientious and considerate we are, the less authority we have to deal with.
Every one should consider themselves 1% the Sheriff of Buggytown.
If you see a problem or a potential problem, try to help make it better before it becomes an issue.
Let's keep the rules to a minimum and dial the Fun to MAX!
Thanks for the reminder Corey. I know last year I stopped somebody that was buggying where the cars were parked and explained how all of us were
staying out of the cars as a common courtesy and he was not very nice about moving.

I myself stay within markers and like Corey mentioned ,please dont ride right in ruts as it's also got some nice bumps and objects that sometimes
pertrude from others running them over.Corey couldn't have said it better .Drive slow in camp and with what Susan noticed ,with discression ,please
ask if anyone does start to set up around the cars, not to ride ,set up or camp around the traffic.Susan, tell Corey if there not nice and he'll give em
a mouth full.......He He !
