Can anybody tell me if the lines on e-bay are any good?Advertised for $35 plus shipping.

If I'm not mistaken the seller on those is dlish89, a frequent forum contributer. Lots of Pansh kites for sale and from Galt, CA.....gotta be one in the same. I betcha he'll have a response for you soon. They look like the lines that ship with Pansh kites which would make sense.

Yes, they are mine and yes they are pansh lines. Ok, now everyone let me have it on how bad pansh lines are. .....
As I told crazymanme2 they are all I fly so I don't know the difference. I have flown some flexi lines and as far as flight I didn't notice any difference, sure the lines themselves look and feel different. I haven't had any problems as of yet. If I do I will stop selling them for sure. All that said I'm by no means any kind of pro pilot nor have I been flying for 25+ years, so as for my level of flying I notice no difference.

I notice the new Pansh lines are sleeved and sewn? The fact that the sleeve wasn't sewn on my set was the saving grace. I was able to adjust the sleeve so the lines matched.

Are these new line sets accurate in length now ?

The new lines are sewn and I have compared about 10 sets so far and they have all been equal. These are not the old lines from pansh's past that looked like rope and were tied not sewn. I have seen those, so I know why they have such a bad rep. they were bad looking. I didn't fly them or compare lengths, so I cannot comment on that.

buying lines is like buying a kite. if you can invest big $$ into a kite, why not get good lines as well. sure they are pricey... but good lines last longer (imo), thinner.

some lines are sewn and some are tied. either way as long as they're equal and sleeved, you'll have no problem. as long as they are dyneema or spectra, you'll be good to go.

if dlish89 has never had problems with the lines he uses and sells. you cant complain there. its been tested.

From what I can tell on this site , you can buy with confidance from Dlish. If you had a problem with the lines or any of his gear I'm pretty sure he will work with you to make it right.

I have not seen any problem with this line yet either. I fly flexi lines. The other day Dlish and I pulled an 8m right out of the bag and it flew fine lines and all We pulled hardd on that beast for awhile and I did not notice and signs of stretch or anything. I hear alot about people saying they have problems with these kites right out if the bag but I have seen plenty of them right out of the bag and besides a little brake adjust they all flew fine.

I've seen plenty of pansh kites come through here. Mostly owned by enrty level kiters. A common problem the flyers are having with the lines after about 3 hrs of flying I here, "my kite just spins and it won't go up" So I have em help me stretch there brake lines, and volla, GOOD KITE.

My advise is to pre-stretch your lines. Make sure they are equal after the stretch....All my lines come pre-stretched, but after some hours in strong winds, I lay them out and check them.

I've spent a lot of money on good kite line (Quadrifoil Powerline) over the years. I have several sets that are nearly 10 years old and still going strong. Everything I fly is 300 pound mains (Powerline) and 80-150 pound spectra brake lines. Only ever broke one line and that was in way overpowered conditions. I'm glad the line broke instead of something else.

I tie all my lines and sleeve the brake lines. It makes it easy to adjust later if needed.

Quadrifoil Powerline. (hum) !0 years sounds like it is worth it. I have only had my flexi lines for about a year and the sleves need replaced as we speak.
