MBS Comp 90 vs. Pro 6 vs. Pro 90

I'm buying my first ground board soon and have decided to go with an MBS. I don't have any experience with these boards and would appreciate any input regarding the functional differences between them. I've looked at the spec's but without experience with a board they don't mean a lot to me. Here are a few general questions......

Is the Pro 90/Pro 6 a worthwhile upgrade from the Comp 90 if you can afford it?

Can anyone tell me if the Pro 90 is out yet, and if not when it is supposed to be available?

Pro 90 comes out in april and it definitely looks like it's worth it!!! I've preordered mine!

Carbon/ply - excellent for strength and bouncyness and lightness!
Very light, great for aerial moves and throwing the board around!

Obviously haven't tried one yet so i can't really comment, but it loooks exactly like the kind of thing i've been waiting for MBS to make :)

I think the Pro 90 is 2 or 3 pounds lighter than the Pro 6. That didn't sound like an awful lot to me but I suppose its about a 20% savings.

If they are supposed to be out in April maybe I'll try to hold out for one. Especially since they retail for the same price.

Well, I ended up going with the Pro 6. I didn't want to wait for the Pro 90 to come out and the local shop had it in stock so I couldn't resist. Now if only winter would end. Oh well, still need some pads anyhow.

I've a question about the board if anyone is familiar with them. On one side of the board the shocks make sort of a popping noise every time I shift my weight from toe to heal and vise versa. The other side makes no noise at all. Any ideas what's causing that?

Also, one wheel appears to be slightly out of true. It looks like it splits right in half if you unbolt it so I figure that maybe it needs to tightened or taken apart and reassembled.

My experience is with skateboards, so take my opinion / advice for what you paid for it.

I used to experience popping with new trucks, and it was caused by the parts being new and not broken in yet. You might try taking the trucks apart and putting a small amount of light oil on the hanger nub where it plugs into the baseplate of the truck. Again, I'm not 100% sure that ATB trucks are built the same as skateboard trucks, so I may be way off here!
