Hello Jplot,
Interesting piece of wind powered machine, especially for a chopper pilot like me, I feel this is an excellent project for kids and grandpa's alike.
My feeling is that there is little visual appeal, past the initial :puzzled: on my face. The flight technique seams to be mastered pretty quickly and unfortunately this is a forum where if a thing does not pull your arms out of sockets, is not multi-colored in contrast with the sky and does not required much effort to fly, then little interest is going to be generated.
Now like I said as a kid project, it is totally different and very interesting for them.
We need and thrill on power generated by kites, we just use dual and some quads from time to time to keep and maintain our skills because there is not enough room / wind / time to take the buggy out.

I give a lot of credit to the creator and the people who did the R&D, to provide something different and make it available on the web.
Thank you, Nice toy.

I love it. Im a general kite nut, so I dont care what it is if it flies on the end of a string, (june bug anyone?) I think it would be something interesting to have and fly, but I think the novelty would soon wear off, and it would collect dust in my attic. Just my personal openion. I like it and think it is cool, but I would probably not go through the trouble of building one for myself.
