Beautiful day at ocean beach

This saturday was crazy at ocen beach, winds in the afternoon were blowing as fast as 45mph, I flew my 2m samurai and almost had to ditch it because the wind was just too strong and I could not drop the kite lower and it kept pulling me towards the street. Luckily someone was there to grab the kite as I brought it to the edge of the window. I got a max speed of 50.3 but it was not a particularly pleasant day, the sand was soft and the wind was just too crazy. Most of the time I flew my 1.4 beamer and that worked very well.

Sunday was awesome, I rode for well over 45miles and the winds were almost straight due west with a little northern slant. about 20mph and very clean. I flew my 3m rm+ and it was smooth sailing all day upwind and down. I averaged about 20mph upwind and about 35 downwind. I beach was a little packed and I did cut a line on someone's 99 cent kite, but I had spares. All in all sunday was an epic day, just beautiful.:tumble:
my top speed for sunday was about 45mph
