Sabre2 unhooked riding?

Is flying a Sabre2 7m unhooked similar to flying a fixed bridle that is approximately the same size (6-7m...like a blade 6.5)?

I want a depowerable kite for 10-20mph kite and I'm trying to figure out what size would be good. Will a 7m sabre2 unhooked pull decently at 10mph? Or do I need a bigger kite like the 9.5 or the 12.0?

You will need a larger kite to = a fixed bridle.

Why on earth would you want to buy a Sabre and then not use it as designed ?

for 10mph definitely look at a 9.5 or 12 depending on how much pull you are looking for. I had a 9.5 Sabre and 10-15 was where I felt a good balance of being in control and getting decent pull from the kite.

My guess is he wants to use it as designed but just wanted to compare a full power to a fixed bridal foil (thats always powered)...
I've had the same interest and questions...
I believe you are correct in larger de-power to fixed bridal... apx 2m bigger, correct me if I'm wrong...
