I've been back for a week or so now from NABX. My schedule keeps getting fuller and fuller. I'll probably not get to a NABX Article that I hoped to
write in the few weeks. By that time it will be old news.
I have posted some pictures and videos, but more will come in the coming days.
However I'd like to take up some of your time for Thank You's that are owned.
Thx to all the people that make this event enjoyable every year, and making this event happen. I know first hand all the work it takes on putting an
event together, and you all do a damn fine work. (patch on the back)
Eli, for being my riding buddy during the first few days. too bad I couldnt fit the weight set on the airplane. Next time! We'll tune out a ApeXX more
for you, rather than someone else's settings.
Jon Ellis, for letting most of us from Vancouver hide under your shade, and take up your chairs.
Corey, for bring me a set of tires to the playa
Sunset Jim, thanks for taking my tires home. Also many thanks for riding with me on the highway side all day, up until I blew a tire. You saved me
from the 3+ mile walk back to camp.
Gordy, did you find your finger yet? heal up! :piggy:
and... To all the rest of you that made my trip this year full of memories. It was worth the trip and hassle (I was overweight, so I had to tear apart
tires off rims at the check-in ... with no tools). All the new and old faces (Markite, Strasher, Dlish, Evotz, Elkiter, and anyone i cant remember
right now) I got to meet, now I have a face to name on this forum.
If I have forgotten anyone else, sorry, and thank you. See you all at the next event or next year at NABX 2009. :karate:
PS. you're all probably wondering did I quit my job. on my last day at work, they phoned me and said it was okay to go, but instead of 3 weeks off, i
got only 2. i'm back to work and back to daydreaming of the playa.
