advice on BF's (wobbles)

Hey I hope I can get some advice for you all, I have been riding a new WindDragon and have just changed a set of bearings in the big foot (big feet?? ) and I now have a bit of a wobble in the wheel. It is mostly an up and down not side to side shift not too much bit enough I can notice it at certain speeds (just like in my car... ) Is there something I have missed I have done tons of bearings in the PL XR+ . Any advice ??

KD

how does the bolt look ....a slight bend in it could send it off... also if the tire sits in the sun for a period of time could warp it out.... also check how the bead is seated on the rim it self...

but the short of it is that the BF are never going to be drop dead true

I'll check both! Thank you Slinger! The buggy usually lives in the back of my car... so I'll pay close attention to the beads.

BALANCING YOUR TIRES:

Have you tried balancing your tires? usually you put your axle bolt in a vice, not the treaded end, the hex end...level the bolt, spin the tire gently. when is stops mark the bottom, or side wall at the bottom as the tire rests after you spin it. if it keeps stopping with the mark down, add a little weight opposite the mark until your tire spins and doesn't stop everytime with the mark in the same spot....

or

make sure your tire is centered on the wheel....get as close as possible and it'lll help a littl.
good luck. it'll take some time

I've had tire stores spin a tire 180 degrees on the wheel for a hard to balance tire. cancels out if you get the heavy side of the tire matched with the heavy side of the wheel. Might be another piece of the puzzle.

I'll try balancing the tire, the bead looks good and the bolt is straight. Thanks everybody for the tips!
