Which FlexiFoil Kite Is This? A Prototype? New Kite?
Which kite is this? Is this a prototype? It looks like a Blade IV on bar? Depower? The colorway is new.
Anyone knows?

Note: "Preview Post" feature shows the pic but once edited, the pic is tagged with "bag" img tag. Oh well, here it is, it's the blue/yellow kite on
the top right corner.

Play "Sunset Sessions" and Lewis Wilby is flying a kite in an unusual colorway -- it's just a yellow kite which leads me to believe it's a prototype.
What's curious about this is that the kite it's a depower and it's shaped like a Blade IV. Now, the kite's picture I posted is also shaped like the
kite in "Sunset Sessions".

Probably handles. Still curious about the kite...looks like Blade IV but an unusual colorway.
The picture is from the latest edition of the iKiteMag, page 31.

In that sunset video, for a clip or two he is also flying something depowerable in rasta, is it possible that maybe they are just modded kites for
team riders?

In the "Sunset Sessions", the kite in Rasta colorway is Sabre 2. He is flying another kite that's light yellow in color and shaped like a Blade IV;
that kite is also a depower. The description of "Sunset Sessions" mentions Sabre 2 and a prototype kite. Look at the video that has a proto Blade IV,
that kite doesn't have the usual bright colorways that
Flexi uses with its kites; the basic BIV proto is a white sail.

Craig had his kites build in his colors and it is blade IV. On sunset session video rasta kite is Sabre 2 and yelow kite was proto of blurr before
tuning to reduce lift. Proto kites came in one color not always white.

Got an email from Craig Sparkes and he said the same things as zloty. The colorway is Samba and was part of an initiative to make Blade IVs in custom
colors.

This was actually discussed on the flexi forum a while back and there it was stated that the yellow kite was not the blurr but another kite that Flexi
decided to not bring into production.
The blurr is a fixed bridle kite and the yellow one was depower.
Depower Quiver: 14m Gin Eskimo, 10m Gin Eskimo III, 6m Gin Yeti, 4.5m Gin Yeti (custom bridle and mixer)

You're a bit late for April Fools... That is the Blade IV in Samba, custom
colours.

:ticking: I don't think there was an initiative there, and if there was it failed miserably. Back in early 2007 I approached Matt Ferris @ Flexifoil
regarding custom colours, 5 months and he still couldn't give me an answer.
Wish you guys better luck.
Regards,

Hi There,
The kites in question are mine, they are custom samba colours. The original samba way was like mine that is seen on the water kites, Fusion &
Atom. The new samba way is like you say, Blue, White, Green.
They are the only set of custom Blade IV's and probably going to be the only ones. It takes alot of time to get them made and these were done for this
colour way only. This is a prototype kite only of the IV.
Not a Blade V like some are hoping
Take it easy

Thanks Craig.
I wonder if Flexi are going to replace their Sabre 2 with another land depower kite.
