Powerkiters in DFW?

Good morning all,
New(ish) flyer signing on from the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.

Any other powerkiters from this area? I've seen one other power kite in the sky about a month ago, but was on my way to work and couldn't stop to chat. Other than that, I sometimes wonder if I'm the only one around, but it seems unlikely out of several million people.

For the most part I fly in the HEB area parks, been at it for several months now, loving every minute of it.

The is a long standing kite club in DFW called Jewels of the Sky (JOTS). They are a recreational kite club though some members are into power kiting too. They don't have a website, but sometimes members can be found on this forum. I can let 'em know you're looking.

I think they go by DAKA now! do a google search Dallas Area Kiters Assc. but they are mostly single line and sport kites. If you also go to Centex kiteboarding assc. there are doz or more members there..............aj

To follow up on what AJ said, you might find some Dallas peeps on http://www.centexkiteboarding.com . Members there do tend to lean towards kiteboarding on water, though. I haven't seen a post about kiting on land on that site since I became a member last Jan.
