I have been contacted by the company Mr.Kitesurf, and have been offered some demos, that I'd like to share with everyone here.

Basically the company is fairly new and they wanted feedback on their product from this side of earth, either good or bad, we want to know.

About Mr.Kitesurf:
They use to manufacture for other brands, but decided to design their own line of kites. The designer is Norbert Curti, who use to design for Takoon. Kites are made in China but designed with French Innovation. =)

They made 4 different type of kites:

KongKong - Two Line Trainer
Firewall - Fixed Bridle Foil
Yeti - Depower Foil
G-Force - LEI / Water Kite

I'm currently putting up the Firewall 6m to be passed around. I will also supply this demo with lines and handles.

The Firewall 3m and Yeti 7.5m will be demoed at SOBB 08'

I'm down for demo'n it... count me in... when do we start?

I'd try it out if you'd let me. I would probably only be able to be objective with the fixed bridle version.

wow... the website looks good, the handles look nice, the flying lines are a good color and they have the little tabs on the loops...

the bridle on the firewall looks kinda long and busy though, but I'd be surprised if the kites are cr@p...

Hope I get a chance to see these kites in action soon....

Locally we had the Firewall 3m out ... so yes its the one you flew. Someone asked about prices, the 3m MSRP - $266.00 USD Complete with their lines and handles. The current 6m going around is $393.00 USD Complete.

I would put the kite to Advanced. Its stable enough for a newer traction kiter to fly.

I'll make the list, and get the kite out to the first person.

Hey I am east coast Canada! NS so Mark is on the way from Vancouver. But Screwy is south eek that is a complicated proposal. I likely should bump under Mark however...

Alright, I hate to be negative, but since no one else has brought it up I've got to say it. "Mr. Kitesurf" has got to be the worst company name in the entire kite industry. How can that be the best name they can come up with? It obviously has nothing to do with the quality of the kite or the company but jeez, what a dorky name. It makes me thing of Mr. Coffee.

And Invento is better?

okay, we're going South first, Vancouver to CA (Dlish and Screw) ... since i'm already sending them other demos. is that okay with everyone ... cross the Americas and back up to Canada???

i wasnt going to be the first to says it ... but i totally 100% agree the name could have been different. I personally hate the LOGO. hey there just names I guess, but most companies have odd names: Nova / Pansh / Mr.Kitesurf / WOLKENSTÜRMER / RHOMBUS / and a few more.

Oh it is... damn. I didn't like the logo either...

yah, its on the side that we have to look at, on the back side is the name of the Kite "Firewall / Yeti"
