I've got the 07 CrazyFly AllAround (145 x 49). Same manufacturer, similar dimensions, but sounds like they are completely different on the water.
Mine's an awesome board, very soft ride in chop, awesome in lightwinds, well made, comfortable pads and straps and a decent price (compared to other
lightwind boards). This board is my only board at the moment and I love it. I weigh 245 lbs and use it in everything from flat water to overhead
waves and chop. A buddy (who weighs about the same as you, roughly 155) gave it a go last summer and loved it also. Sorry you didn't like your
board, but the reason I didn't go for the Cruiser (or a similar "rectangular" shaped board) is that in my experience they just don't work as well in
anything but flat water and lightwinds. The AllAround has more of a "tapered at the ends" shape which makes it work in a wide variety of conditions.

I went for a spin on the buggy with my 13 instinct, felt good so I jumped in for some wave/white caps, NO WETSUIT, I didn't get 4 hrs, but about 1
good one, the ocean looks like a lake when it isn't blowing!
