Carl,
that is one sweet ride! I LOVE the axle plates with the 'swoop' very very very cool. Have you tried the alternitive front forks? That is a elegant way do set up a suspention system. As always it is a joy to see a craftsman's work.

Well after flying Ozone Access's for two years solid, I felt I had been as far as I could with them, I still have them and will use them on gusty offshore wind days....they are just brilliant in those conditions and can make a so so day into a great one.

I have bought a set of PKD Centuries, all second hand, and nowadays one of the older race kites, but great kites for learning the ways of the race kite, I am loving using them so far, but like any race kite, loose concentration for a second and they bite you hard...did you notice in the video, just after I ran over the Radsail buggy, I went for a little flight of my own....I was laughing my head off at the time.

Carl,

Once again you have produced an awesome buggy. Each model you make is even more impressive than the last. You are an inspiring artist, congrats on a job well done.

You have set a standard that is difficult to approach in style and execution, thank you for setting the bar at a very respectable height so the rest of us mortals can dream. Awesome, simply awesome.

Second time out in the buggy and a new PB of 54.3mph....

account of the day here....well all 10 minutes in the buggy anyway

http://popeyethewelder.piczo.com/?g=46841259&cr=7

Tonight I put the new Beach Racer Tyres on.....they really are huge like Formula 1 wets

seen here next to a Euro Trax, I am a bit disappointed they are not the same diameter as the Euro's, but look impressive all the same

Wear gloves...Welding or Kiting???

Kiting I generally only wear gloves in a buggy when my hands are cold, or I know I will be travelling fast

Welding I often only wear the left hand glove and dont bother with the right hand glove until the gun gets too hot
