To avoid hijacking Popeye's thread this thread is in response to seeing Popeyes new beach racer tires on his new Dominator buggy. So Popeye, do you
have a feel for the difference between the eurotrax and the beach racer tires? At what speeds do tires of this size become an advantage? Are they a
requirement for the typical ripples your beach usually has? Do you encounter soft sand on your beaches? I'm only weeks away from having a buggy and
I'm wondering what its speed limits are before stability and traction come into play. I'm getting the Flexi with wide axle and wide (well wider than
the regular tires on a flexi) tires. Living inland, most of my riding is going to be on grass, so this won't be a factor, only having a quarter to an
eighth of a mile in most cases before I have to turn around. I"m curious about tires on a smooth beach for comparison purposes.
