question/ thought

ok so this is kinda related to the NPW thread.....flexiblade and I were wondering why there are no solid color kites?.........I eventually would like to get a NPW from susan......4.5 solid white...no designs no frills.......would that not look beautiful in the air on a sunny blue day..like a cloud?...or a solid black 4.9 foil.....it would look like a big 'ol bat...one more thought....why don't our kites have tails?

ohhhhh BLACK, BLACK!!!!!! I would love one day to get my hands on NPW..but i dunno about the color scheme. it just doesn't look ummmm sporty? me on a board, wind blowing and glitter and pride following me along the field. kinda takes the masculinity away. LOL IMO. :saint:

I imagine that Susan could make you one in any color you wanted, solid or not. The only thing bad about black kites is that you can't see them in the evening when the sun goes down. Also, solid colored kites are a bit more difficult to fly because you have a hard time differentiating from the top and bottom of the kite....is it going up or down after that spin? The NPW wouldn't be that hard because of its unique shape. Still, I have a totally white 14' ghost delta kite that is absolutely beautiful in the sky.

My Ace 2m is black. It has a little red trim on it, but you can hardly see it when its in the air. Sexy kite, if you ask me. Maybe not as cool lookin as the midnight scheme flexi has, but close.

Someone flies a foil across the ravine from "my" field with tails on it. Looks pretty meat but IMO the tails are not long enough. If you're gonna do it I figure you might as well have uber long tails like the floor gymnasts so you can see the path the kite just took......might have to try that one day and snap some pics.
