That I havent been around the past few weeks.

A few months ago I started a fish tank to replace the 125g I had. I got into kites and kinda let it slide so for the past few weeks I gathered all the stuff I bought months ago and got to work.

And Donny, this is what I was going to ask you about. I need to build a canopy to house the light in. Im thinking about building it out of wood but then thought about alum. and just skinning it with wood.

Make me a drawing, remember to leave an airspace between metal and wood . We don't want no fires

Gotchya. Ive actually already built it out of wood and then found out how heavy that damn thing is. And thats without the light or fans installed in it...lol.

hey beamer i have a 400watt MH i got for a project that fell threw bulb ballast and ballast box it will be with me when i go to jekyll just yell if you want it it would cost more to ship then its worth so its free if you want it

and no the project was not growing weed i was building a self cooling green house i fyou want to know more you can pm

looking good ... I give you credit for using a hex for a reef also. A hex is more difficult and especially the depth factor. You might also want to double check the use of alum. with your lighting. I was told (so I don't know for sure) that the alum. would actually absorb the light rather than deflect it ??? I couldn't really understand it, but it had to do with certain spectrums and the alum.
I had a 220 gal going for a few years, but it just became too much, so now its converted into fresh water with rainbows. Gives me more time to fly instead of changing water.

you could always line the alum with mylar
