Euro Riders coming to Nabx 2009

works are under way to get a few euro riders to nabx 2009. currently i'm trying to help them get their buggies to Vegas. They are going to send them by boat there.

so i was wonder if i could send them to AWOC (kent) or Corey's shop?

where can I get smoothie tires close to vegas?

currently their dates of stay: March 28th untill the April 5th

any extra help would be grateful.

thank you in advance. 6 months to go. woohoo.

NO problem sending them to me here at AWOC, address is on our website. Just mark the boxes with what they are and make sure to let me know what is coming and how many packages. You can pick them up at our shop or I can bring them down to NABX with me when I get there.

We have smoothie tires in stock as well as ribbed tires, bearings, tubes...etc...

For one or other reason I cannot login with my previous "username" Jeroen P, so I just made a new acount on the forum.......lets hope that it stays on for now.

About the trip for us to the US,....hell yeah,, we cannot wait to come over....

Ricardo, Kent (?) , we are glad that you guys offer us some possibilitys to get /recieve or stuff in the US.

Another thing which probably is needed, is a Van or Pickup for all our stuff. Is it better to rent when arive or reserve a Van or Pickup in advance ?, and does someone has a good (cheap) webadress for doing that (from holland).

We keep in touch !!.

ozzy, sorry i missed you on skype. you guys are 9hrs ahead of us. i've online at *5am PST* giving ruudje some details, and has also been talking with Maria (kitemama).

we will get you all here, Kent has volunteered his services to recieve your buggies at his shop. thank you in advance. (i will email you their mailing address, so you can estimate shipping costs)

ozzy, check out www.priceline.com and you can search out prices on a rental car/truck for LAS (vegas airport) pickup.
we rented a mini-van from priceline last year and ended up paying $20 per day. you make an offer to Priceline, and they will either accept or decline it, its like a bidding system.

now that that dutch are coming, i'm working on the germans next.
time to give Top 10 Male/Female Racer List a challenge since the last time the Euros where here.

you or anyone else for that matter, never need to ask ... just take it for a spin. :spin:
my toys are your toys. :bigok:

DirtSlide and I both had NoS (water) on the buggy ... this year well have something a little different again.

whatever you're managing to get in speed this season, i'll make sure you hit 60+ at NABX, even if we have to buggy into the night. bring some Depends though. ;-)
i wanna see another Pansh explode again. sorry Dakitez.

also i'm firming up the details / flights / hotel booking with the Dutch Xxtreme Team next week. you'll get to meet Ruudje and Ozzy. The Germans i've spoken to, seem a little less interested because of their racing going on. oh well, i tried.

Krohn1999, are you coming???

Ozzy, bring that Reactor II with ya ... if they dont get produced by than.

cant wait!!!! :bird:

As I heard from the designer from the new ReaktorII ,its only some weeks/months before final production.

And man , they are f#cking fast, at least for a intermediate, a good rider (John Jansen) her in Holland achieve to end a second place during the finals of the Eurocups race series.

So , that quite amazing,....I am wondering what the new PL race kite (Vapor) is going to bring as this intermediate is already the fast !.

Still have a question, is there on the NABX a tire programm ? so that we can puschase tyres and/or rims overthere ?

About next year,... we will book our flights next week, most probably, and we will take out APexx buggys on the plain itself, so that we are sure the we will have our stuff with us.

If there are some other guys who will get in contact with us , add us to skype,. for me: xxtremeozzy

I hope to get you sometime on skype,.unless it is difficult due to the big time difference,...me also , having a buzzy job.

hope to see an speak you all in the states !.

oke guy's , tonight we booked our flights to Vegas,...:wee:

We will arive the 28th at aprox 8:00 PM and leave the 5th at 7:00AM, we will fly with Delta.

Question, as we are with the 3 of us, I don't know if it is possible to get a 3 pers. room ?, otherwise we have to book 2 bedrooms for the 3 of us.

Maybe one of us can share a bedroom with another participant. If interested , let me know.

Remember, the rooms are like $28 - 32 bucks a night because these are casino hotels (that's where they make their money). It's still money I know, but a whole week at NABX is the same as one night in New York City.

Don't forget for you first timers, we have a pre event where we camp out on the lake bed, no hotel needed, just some kites(or sleeping bags) and all are welcome.

If you are a first timer and are unsure of how it works, contact me, i'll fill you in.

We really don't like to talk about pre event stuff on here to much.

Everyone welcome!

oh, and please use the room code to book hotel with! Muy important!

We can't really do the five lake challenge at least not the way we once wanted to.

However, that doesn't mean that we couldn't do an all lake challenge, to tour folks from far away throughout the Mojave basin, to all these hot spots we know about.

NABX will help. If there is any interest. Eli, you can lead it, me, i'm where the bombs fall silent, and the glass melts slowly.
