Got My 6m Access Today =)
Usmski gets 5 starts in my book, I paid $350 for a BRAND SPANKIN NEW 6m Ozone Access, which is a STEAL! And when I got the package, there was an XL
Best waist harness in it, and a Prism P3 Stylus. 2 thumbs up!!! He was easy to deal with, and no hitches, it just showed up 3 days later. =) I opened
it up and am AMAZED at the build quality of the kite, the bag alone is beautiful! =) The trailing edge has mylar, as well as the wingtips, and the
leading edge. The mixer is a 1 pulley system, as basic as it gets. The only thing I don't like is the bar doesn't have a trimmer, you need to land it
and move it up and down knots. I can get a kit for it, but idk if I want to mess with it or not. There's just so much attention to detail, there's
elastic bands on the bar to keep the lines from going insane. Every possible wear point is reinforced, its just awesome! The dirtouts are MASSIVE!!! I
can't wait to fly this baby =)
I know a new kite usually means no wind, but the forecast is calling for 20mph wind at noon when a front moves in =)
WOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!

Welcome to the Access owners club NPW.
Unfortunatly, once you have experienced an Access in a Buggy, as I've discovered, you are unlikely to ever choose a NPW over it. I should know ...
I've more Nasa's than fingers to count them on, but rarely fly them these days.
The Access1 is a GREAT kite, less lift than the Access 2 and many people say its stronger. I've a 50cm Access2 bar on my Access1 6m, so have the
trimmer. It is very useful, and I find the shorter bar better in a bug.
Once you are used to the Access1, do blag a go on a XC. You will again be amazed at the light bar pressure ...
Like me I'm sure you'll be sad to see the dust gather on your Nasa's, but the smile the Access puts on you face is more than enough compensation!

Congrats NPW. You have a real, modern, new, well designed kite now. There will be no stopping you now. This is the beginning of a new era for you.
Now you will only be content with professionally engineered, well made kites. You're gonna need a good job me thinks.

Congrats! I know you've been after an Access for a while. Enjoy it.
I didn't realize that the original Access didn't have a trimmer. If you find yourself flying in gusty winds I think you might appreciate being able
to trim it on the fly rather than having to muscle it down and adjust knots. Honestly I don't spend an awful lot of time fiddling with my trimmer so
you should be fine without it too.
This poor kite has been stuck in its bag for three years and today you're setting it free!

And I'm setting it free in about 30 minutes =)
Yeah, I love my NPW, but the last time I used that for traction was when it was my biggest kite.....if you don't count the 200 square foot
tarp.....lol
And I seriously have wanted and Access since I took my lessons on the XC last season, and I know that was an AMAZING kite, and this should be
somewhere in the same caliber.
I'm gonna need a job that pays more than $7.40 an hour now though....and then it comes down to, more awesome kites, or paraglider.....? Hard choice
to make, but not many 16 year olds have to make that choice, so I consider myself VERY lucky.
Going to fly my new baby,

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing....I just need a pic of my baby, and figure out how to size it so I can use it, I've tried like 8 times to change
it.
It was weird though, when I went to fly it today, I had to juggle my lines. Like, the power bridles have a knot, the brakes a loop. But like it was
setup with lines with knots on the right, and lines with loops on the left 2 attachments.... I just hooked them up as the fit, not realizing, and the
kite went into a death loop, and spun probably 30 times before I could get it under control. I moved the lines on the bar, and it flew great, and I
cruised on the board for 2 hours. But why were the lines like this? Is it a safety thing? So stupid people wouldnt be able to fly it?
Just wondering
